Services: Microchip Identification Implants

Maybe the gate to the yard was left unlatched. Perhaps someone forgot to close the front door during the excitement of a family visit. Maybe your dog has a habit of jumping the fence and going for walks on his own. However it happens, when you realize that your trusted companion is missing, the feeling can be devastating. What do you do? Where do you search? Who do you call?

Now there is an easy way to give yourself some piece of mind by taking advantage of a microchip identification implant. Using a syringe, your veterinarian can easily insert a small microchip under your pet's skin. Should your pet become lost and end up in a shelter or clinic, a small hand-held scanner can be used to read an I.D. code from the microchip. This I.D. code can be used to retrieve your personal contact information from a network database. You are notified and soon you and your pet are happily reunited.

The procedure is safe and approved for dogs and cats of all ages and can generally be performed right in the vet's office in as little as five minutes. And whereas tags and collars can fail by being lost or removed, the microchip is permanent. Since their introduction, microchip identification implants have helped reunite thousands of lost pets with their owners.
